Virtually all DVD recorders will do what you want. That's their raison
d'tre. [I assume when you "record ... one channel while ... watching
another" you mean you will use the TV's tuner for the channel you're
watching. Very few recorders have more than one tuner.]
The only caveat is that almost none will record copy protected material.
