A CRC is a mathematical calculation used to ensure that your data has been
written correctly while being burnt to the DVD. Do not turn CRC off.

CRC errors are most often caused by poor DVD media. EG.

1. Damaged (scratched?) disc, or a 'bad disk' (manufacturing error).

2. Poor quality disc (don't buy cheap media, get a good brand, EG. Ritek).

3. Dirty disc (less likely unless not a new disc).

It can also be caused by a faulty component in your DVD drive, but this is
much less likely than a bad disc. If I had to guess, I'd say your problem
was most likely caused by buying cheap media, I've had no CRC errors since
buying Ritek DVDs, they're more expensive (not that much more) but worth it.
