Hi,

My Sony DVD player gave up on me probably because of a heavy lighting which
struck very very nearby (luckily no other stuff was damaged)...... so I
quickly have to buy a new player.
Problem is that my screen can't handle macrovision on NTSC sources very well
(the upper 1,5 cm of the image is distorted)

The broken player (and all the ones I had before) where modified so that the
macrovision was hacked out.

I was temped to buy a pioneer 490V or 696AV but I only can find them
regionfree and not region- AND macrovisionfree
Or Am i looking on the wrong sites ...I also found the SONY DVP-NS92V but
again..... not macrovisionfree

So Help? Please :-)
