Interesting experience. There was a fight in the parking lot today and
I grabbed the video camera. As I'm futzing with the tape and battery,
I was wondering. Can I store the camera with a tape and batery loaded?
I realize the battery will drain, but if I charge it every month
should I be OK? What about the tape up agaisnt the heads?
I have an older Hi8 camera and a DV. The old Hi8 cam is what I use if
I'm going into combat or something - thats what I'll use for my "ready
cam."

Anyway it was an interesting experience. One US Marine home from Iraq.
One girlfriend. One other guy. Three local police officers and one
county. After the Marine was incustody I told the cops I had a tape,
they adked to look at it, came up blah blah....
