Well, I've run out of suggestions! AFAIK DV audio is PCM encoded into
the picture information, so if the picture's there, the audio should be
too. There's no equivalent (thankfully!) of the old linear audio track
in VHS, where the picture could record but the audio heads could be
bunged up with fluff. I'll backheel this one to the experts, sorry!
