Therer are lots of reasons for a disk not to play beyond just physical
damage you could see with your eyes...so there is no simple answer. Alot
might depend in the title in question, certain titles have features that
some players cannot handle correctly. It also depends heavily on the exact
make and model of player being used as well...some have excellent error
tracking, some have terrible error tracking, some struggle with dual layers,
etc...
