Hi,

I've just started burning DVDs for the first time
from PC files, films for my kids in fact.

Now, I have a very recommended Samsung burner, lightscribe,
CD burner XP and a converter to convert the .avi (usually)
files into MPEG-2 which I think is a DVD format, in Pal (I'm
in France) Now the loung player, a pioneer must be a bit old fashioned
because in the manual it say it only reads MPEG-2 on DVD - R , so
I got a packet of DVD - R and burned the DVD but the thing won't charge in
the
player, it make this horrible noise going round and round like it's trying
to start
but can't

Any ideas ?
