So what are the non-video regions? Are you talking about that vertical
and horizontal extra lines stuff? (I think, called 'VINS' ?)

With the "bug" concept, could the user simply chop off the bottom, and
a matching (4:3 or 16:9) number of lines on the side so as to keep the
video to the same proportions? Then no one would know it was ever
bugged. Unless you stick it in the centre, in which case people will
think it interferes with the video.

Also, whats the laws about video ownership? If I discover my video
being claimed by someone else, can I sue their ass?

Also, what about shared key/certificate concepts? I know WMP has a
licencing server. Could I not keep the content encrypted, even on PC
that it is downloaded to, and the user needs certificate to view it?
