Anyway you guys know everything don't you? ;^)

I wonder if some kind soul could help me please?

I am running the latest version of iTunes 6.0.5.20 and have been trying to
add some scanned artwork with no success.

I can drag the .jpg to the Artwork window either in the iTunes program
window or browse to the jpg and load into the Get Info/Artwork window where
it shows but does not 'stick'.

When I go back onto the track the artwork has disappeared.

This is on my XP PC - iTunes 6.0.4.2 works as expected on my W2K
PC...weird...

Has anyone else come across this or better still know how to solve it?

The id3 tags are at v2.2 on all my tracks ripped from CD to .mp3 at 192kbs
but I have tried altering the tags to 2.3 or 2.4 to no avail.

Thinking the jpg file was too big I scanned some more at lower
resolutions/file sizes to no avail.

I have run out of ideas now...
