Hi All,

I've Philips DVP642K/69 DVD player in whom I tried to play PocketPc
MP4 and H.263 clips.

But when I tried to play PocketPc MP4 and H.263 clips into Philips
DVP642K/69 DVD player either the screen is blank or a message readin'
"CODEC not supported"


Initially the default software version installed on this DVP642k/69 DVD
player was ver0531 which I upgraded to Version 1109.Later I read
reviews about Version 1109 that it has nothin' special to offer.
I'm still not able to play MP4 & H.263 clips on this DVD player.

I've VirtualDub, some suggested that I can covert MP4 & H.263 clips
to DVD compatible clips through this freeware. But I'm still waiting
for someone to guide me for step-by-step process to do this.

I've been suggested to download the free CODECS for MP4 from
http://www.free-codecs.com . But I don' know what and how to download
them. I'm lookin' for step-by-step to follow the procedure. viz
how to download and in which format to burn them to install in DVD
Player.
