Do the maths.
4.7*1000*1000*1000 / 1000000 / 60
capacity in bytes / speed in Mbytes per sec / seconds per minute
At 8Mb/s the maximum recording time on a standard single layer DVD is about
75 minutes. For 2 hours the bit rate needs to be about 5Mb/s.
