Whatever happens, Good luck, Paul!
I remember having an idea not so long ago...
Just ending the first year after that and I'm reminded of my own words
to lots of my seminar audiences of the years.
To wit,
Ideas are essentially worthless. It's only the IMPLEMENTATION of ideas
that creates value. And implementation is the long hard road.
I'm nearly at the end of the first year of pitching StartEditingNow! -
we're shipping product daily - we've sold product on every continent but
Antartica. We've just secured our first major catalog listing (PC
Mall). And I have three more DVDs shot and waiting for me in the edit
suite. (Damn regular clients won't leave me alone and my summer was the
most lucrative in my entire career)
Now I have to shake off two months of relentless editing so I can start
on ... two MORE months of relentless editing!
My advice.
One step at a time, follow your bliss. If it's meant to happen you'll
find the time and energy to make it happen.
If it is, you'll find it impossible not to lay awake at night and sweat
all the thousand little details that need to be checked off between
today and when it actually happens.
Not easy. Not boring!
Again, good luck.
