"Sling Media has received approval from the FCC for a new version of
its media streaming console Slingbox. Currently titled the "Slingbox
A/V," it comes with audio/video cable inputs on the side to allow
streaming of recorded content on external sources like a DVR or DVD
player."

For those who arn't in the know, Slingbox let's you record from a
connected TV, and then play it back on a computer. To work with the
hardware you need the Slingplayer which exists on a variet of
platforms. The current model doesn't have A/V inputs which seems to be
the main change.
