That's bullshit. Either there is enough signal to be received, or
there isn't. If one gets decent broadcast standard NTSC from a given
station, without ghosting, etc., Then it is very likely that the same
individual would be able to get that same broadcaster's HD signal no
problem.

There is enough FEC in the signal to still be received even at a bit
error rate as high as ten percent.

They are, in fact, more "receiveable".
