My god, you really don't want to let anyone in the door, do you? If
everyone followed this advice, television would still be dominated by
Gilligan's Island and Mr. Ed., and we'd see nothing but big, fat,
gluttonous, over-produced musicals starring Ethel Merman at the
Cineplex. Except, there wouldn't be a Cineplex. Not all bad, I guess.

Even Hollywood recognizes that they need a regular infusion of
independent film-makers to resusitate the industry.
