In some ways, prices have gone up since I started buying DVDs (almost 6 years
ago now). Back then, there were Internet coupons for $1 discs, or other
fairly huge discounts because the Internet was really starting to ramp up
the dot-com's about then, and stores wanted to get name recognition.
The closest thing that happens today is the twice-yearly 20% off sale from
Deep Discount DVD (although their current "buy one box set, get one free"
is pretty amazing, even with the limited 150 title selection).
