ITV is paid for out of the advertising budget of those companies who
hope viewers of ITV will buy thei product

Only if I buy what is advertised.
But unlike the bbc they don't send a thug round at 11 pm to bang on my
door demanding I buy their service. ( I had but their records were
wrong)
