My SanDisk sansa c100 1gb flash mp3 player allows the mp3s to be
played by album or artist regardless of which folder the mp3 is in. It
examines the MP3 tag info, which you can change.

There is some playlist option too. I think the playlist is created on
the unit once the mp3s are there, but not sure. It doesn't take Winamp
or Media Player playlist files, except just as pure data.
