I make my own little brackets, etc. out of bent plastic
(PVC sheet) and/or metal (alumininum).

There have been quite a few postings from another flim/video
sound mixer in India, "Vinod" in the last year or two over on
news:rec.arts.movies.production.sound
Might be worth searching the Google Groups archives.
