I just discovered, that many of my MP3 stuff does not play to the very
end of a piece. This is most noticable in speech files, like books on
CD. Missing are less than half a second, depending ont the fie. The
last word is cut off on the last syllable or so.
I tried encoding with various software, like MP3pro and orginal MP3
encoder by Fraunhofer, using Magix Music Maker and also Nero 6, and
various bit rates, including variable. I tried replaying with two
different MP3 players and the Magix Music Maker MP3 playing. All with
the same result.
Now, ready to give up, I discovered that Windows Media Player plays the
same files to the very end, and does not cut them short.
Anybody any explanation of that? Or a hint, what to do?
