DOH! Thanks for that -I misread your initial post, obviously.
I wonder why they did that? The only reason I can think of is so they can
get away with charging a premium on conversion (eg. the book I was buying
was �4.99, now it's 8.99euros... xe.com puts the conversion at 7.38euros).

It's still cheap enough -but drawing closer to the kind of price that will
encourage me not to bother so often.
