Hi,

I'd like to buy a tripod for my Sony HVR-A1 and I'm interested in the
Sony VTC-D680RM. Is this tripod (I mean, most of all the remote)
compatible with my cam? Or would I have to consider buying the more
expensive VCT-1170RM?

So far only infos I found say the VTC-D680RM is compatible with
HDR-HC1/HC3, and VCT-1170RM is compatible with HDR-FX1, but no info
about the HVR-A1.
