i was talking to my eldest son last nite. He was asking me if I knew of
a media player that would play a wide variety of media files - photos,
video, mp3, flac, ogg and more, and which only required a USB
connection to add or remove files - no specialty software needed. And
he'd like it to have at least 60gb or more of storage, and have the
ability to "jack" it into speakers to use in a "boom box" sort of mode.

I am not certain, but it seems likely there are some items on the
market like this. What would be some of the choices you would recommend
he investigate?
