My cheap players (Target - I promise not to get you started on W****rt
:-) all can be set to convert or not to convert. I.e., they can be made
to output video in the DVD's native format, or always PAL, or always
NTSC.
Of course, if you set to output in PAL and your TV only plays NTSC,
it's hard to get it back - you can't easily see what's happ'nin'. Guess
how I know this :-)
In my experience, dvdhelp.com can be of a bit of help in answering your
questions about various models.
