I have a Samsung combo DVD/VHS deck that somtimes will not play DVDs
correctly.Most of the time it works just fine, however, there are times

when it freezes the image or stutters. Sometimes it will not show the
DVD menus at all. I will play these disks in other DVD players and they

work fine. I have looked for a pattern, assuming that perhaps that it
is a codec problem, but I cannot seem to find one. I inherited this
problem from the guy who had the job before me, and I do not want to go

willy nilly buying DVD players evrytime I encounter a problem. Any
suggestions?
