I got a fibre optic lead through ebay this week, £3.95 delivered which
was gold tipped and the optic core was secure unlike another one I have
which slides in and out, seems to work ok so not too bothered. Needed
the new one as I had 2meter one die on me this week. Don't know what
happened as there are no kinks or obvious breaks but the red light was
just not reaching the end. weirdness as it was working fine 5 mins
before and I checked the socket with another cable and it was working.
The seller was very good too; I ordered lunch time Wednesday and it was
on my mat in the following morning's post. The postage was probably
too high at £1.95 (fee dodging I suspect) but for £3.95 overall was a
good price as far as I was concerned. the seller was
"mhpcomputerservices" I'm sure they won't mind a mention, I would deffo
recommend them if you are looking for a new TOS link or Fibre Optic
cable.
16000+ feedback at 100% is an impressive feat in my book. No it's not
my account, mine is "dshawcross" @ a measley 242 FB
