I bought three DVD recorders, with all the specifications I mentioned,
at our local supermarket, best part of a year ago, for 34 Pounds
Sterling each plus VAT (a tax I get back because I'm VAT registered, as
are most businesses over here). I guess at current exchange rates
that'd be about $60
