Okay...

It may be a cowboy movie, or it may be an *American war of independence*
film, or one of those *Alamo* type movies...

Point is, I ony saw it on TV when I was about 10 (over 30 years ago!)

But one scene sticks in my head cos it may have been my first exposure to TV
violence..

Some guy comes into this room/tent/something...

And all the rest of the guys in there are playing cards.
And this one guy has done something horrendous (Nope, dunno what!)

And he gets well stabbed up (But surounded by the pother guys so you see
nothing..)

BUT while they are stabbing him up they are singing or whistling, "John
Brown's Body"
and the scene ends with a shot of a card table (with a gratuitous ace of
spades showing) and a knife having the blood wiped off onto the
tablecloth...

Any ideas???
