Only 27 folks ever died in Pinto fires, out of over 2 million built.
It is amazingly safe. And unlike a locomotive, you can go all sorts of
places the railroad tracks don't. Lots of folks drive their cars these
days, and I don't see that many people taking the train any more, so I
guess I don't see your point.
