Thanks for the links too. Since it seems you know a lot about this I will
pose another issue I have with my DIVX compatible recorder (LG RH7500).
(That's another device than the DVD player I mentioned earlier). For some
DIVX files I found subtitle files, though it seemed I had to adapt the
timing a litle. I did this using Subtitleworkshop. I copied all DIVX files
and subtitles under the same name to an ISO DVD. This DVD plays fine on the
computer, again using PowerDVD, wherein I can also activate the subtitles.
However, when I want to play the DVD in the recorder, I can also activate
the subtitles, but it seems to have an issue with some special characters
(e+ accents etc.). They do not show up correctly. Strange enough, this
problem does not show up using the PC...
