NEW Question:

Will this work? I just bought from Home Depot, a Workforce brand (may be
their brand) Portable Halogen Worklight - 500 watts. Actually it's a twin
250 watt unit, Comes with a "sled" (as they call it) to mount on the ground,
and a portable tripod light stand. On the box it looks like you can move the
position of the lights vertically (up and down), but it doesn't say anything
about any horizontal panning. I don't want to take it out of the box if I
definately got the wrong type so I can return it. I realize I may need to
adjust the camcorder to the proper color temperature, and I'm not looking
for absolute professional perfection, just something that will be decent
online. I will also probably convert the .avi video to .flv format for quick
streaming to save bandwidth and quick staring, so I know I'll lose
resolution there.

Is this enough wattage, or do I need to go with a single 500 watt, or a
twin 500 making 1000? I will need it to go 20 feet max probably. I would
still like to use my camcorder vs. a still camera if at all possible.

I uploaded an image of the back of the box:

Unfortuneately, Photobucket reduces the resolution of images.

Thanks again for your help.
