 For film I would suggest a motion picture camera.  Choose 35mm, 16mm, or
 Super 8mm according to your needs and budget. Or are you talking about film
 as in "still photographs"?
 
 If you are actually talking about shooting video, then you will need a video
 camera. You can choose Digital 8 or MiniDv.  Digital 8 cameras tend to be
 cheaper than Dv cameras.
 
 Megapixels are often used to describe digital still photo cameras.
 
 What are your needs, really?
