Standard NTSC DVD resolution IS 720x480, not 640x480....and for capturing,
in most cases, you want to use one of the dvd compliant resolutions that is
closest to the source resolution. For instance VHS is about 240 lines of
res, so you would use either 352x240, or 352x480, etc....you can read about
alot of these principals at www.digitalfaq.com.
Down the left hand column are headings for almost all areas of the
process....
