Thanks for the information, I will look into the zoom option. The DVD
recorder I purchased does not have this feature. I buy mostly widescreen
movies planning for the day I get a widescreen TV but in the meantime
viewing on a 36" 4:3 screen is not good either. I realize I lose picture
information but I also lose it staring at such a small screen.
