Most countries that did dub films in the past, like Europe and Latin
America and even Japan, are now doing very little dubbing.

And why is that? Because you can pick the complete acting performance
in doing so, which is very difficult to get back in a dubbing set.

That HK, India and other countries still do that, is mostly because
their audiences accept it and are fine with it.
