Today, DVD Verdict posted reviews of BOB THE BUTLER, EDWARD R. MURROW
COLLECTION, FOUR BROTHERS, LANDSCAPE IN THE MIST, THE RAINS CAME, 21
HOURS AT MUNICH, and WARREN MILLER'S FIFTY:
BOB THE BUTLER (reviewed by Mitchell Hattaway, overall score 35/100):
"What you might not know is that the star of Bob the Butler is Tom
Green. Now that you do know that, I will understand completely if you
have suddenly chosen to stop reading this review. Okay, so is anybody
still out there?"

EDWARD R. MURROW COLLECTION (reviewed by Bryan Byun, overall
score 85/100):
"The Edward R. Murrow Collection is undeniably effective in conveying
Murrow's importance to broadcast journalism -- and the relevance of his
journalistic style and philosophy to our own age."

FOUR BROTHERS (reviewed by David Johnson, overall score 90/100):
"Basically, John Singleton has crafted an 'urban western,' which he
consistently alludes to in the bonus features. But even without
Singleton's remarks, it should be obvious to anyone not living on the
moon that this is a modern-day western."

LANDSCAPE IN THE MIST (reviewed by Joe Armenio, overall score 84/100):
"The director isn't concerned with individual psychology, with what they
call in Screenwriting 101 'character development.' At important moments,
his compositions lock up and human figures become frozen objects,
symbols rather than characters."

THE RAINS CAME (reviewed by Steve Evans, overall score 80/100):
"Truly, the incredible trick photography is the main selling point for
adding this DVD to a collection. As drama, only die-hard fans of Myrna
Loy or Tyrone Power need this picture on their shelves, as both actors
would produce far better work in other films."

21 HOURS AT MUNICH (reviewed by David Johnson, overall score 85/100):
"21 Hours at Munich isn't the slam-bang shoot 'em-up populated by an
assault of overblown set pieces most of us have come to expect from our
terrorist movies (John McClane is MIA), but as a serious work of
suspense, the flick's got it going on."

WARREN MILLER'S FIFTY (reviewed by Mac McEntire, overall score 80/100):
"The obvious statement to make is, 'If you've seen one Warren Miller
ski movie, you've seen them all.' But that doesn't have to be such a
bad thing."
