Irrelevant attempt at an analogy. /there is absolutely nothing in common

Sure, there can be some delay over the length of a cable. the difference
between 3 and 6 feet when talking about the speed of light is less than
negligible. Even if one cable was 1000 feet long, as long as the bits
arrived intact, the only difference in sound might be a millisecond or so of
delay, not any differnce in bass, detail and kick, whatever the fuck those
things mean.
