It is great to have you here.

When you said that your disc tops were not smooth when using your
thermal printer, do you mean the tops of DVD-RAM discs only or the tops
of DVD-RAM discs and DVD-+ discs, etc.? If this applies to all type of
discs, then I suppose that it is possible to print smoothly on all
areas if a better compatible thermal printer is used (maybe the TEAC
P-11?).

On a related note, if your disc tops were not smooth, did you try
re-printing the discs after having done the first printing? I have
heard that this makes the characters/graphics darker.
