If you look at the emails you are bouncing, you might see that most of them
are "cannot send email/MAILER DAEMON" type posts... as if you had emailed
them and they are replying with automatic bounce-backs.
....ie. programs like Mailwasher _add_ to the ever-increasing spam across the
internet.

Your email address is used to send a rubbish/pointless email to someone else
on a mailing list, or in an unprotected 'contacts' list somewhere on some
computer. Say this (innocent) '3rd-party' uses Mailwasher to bounce a reply
back to you... meaning you (who never actually sent anything) receive crap,
which you treat as spam and use Mailwasher to bounce another message back...
adding to and *creating* the crap all over the internet.

Also, you might receive one email, but your bounce could be (unwittingly)
sending to *multiple* sources and innocent parties... even *further*
building up the amount of spam. Say just 1 of these emails YOU send-to also
uses mailwasher... they reply to all *including* you, so you get more spam
back. ...And the list grows.
And there are lots of lists.

Also, as you bounce back replies, this merely ensures the likelihood that
your email address (if that is what you are using) will be added to more
mailing lists for more spam.

So where is all the ever-increasing spam coming from? ...It's coming from
YOU!

Ignore it. Bin it. Change your email address. Don't reply to it. Don't click
a link on it. And *DON'T* bounce it back.

Some good isps (and programs such as Outlook, gmail, etc.) can now catch a
lot of these and know what they are... but it won't stop/slow/begin
decreasing until people switch off their automatic bounce-backs.
