Thanks for the suggestion. I downloaded the current version of
VirtualDub and tried running it on the 2nd part of the file. VD refused
to recognize this file as a video file.

Do you think I might have better luck feeding it the combined files 1
and 2 (i.e., the whole assembly with segment 22 in the middle missing)?
