If you have an LG DVD writer in your pc then that may be the problem. There
is a compatibility problem with LG writers and some Panasonic Recorders. My
E85 exhibits this problem but I don't know about the DMR-30. Strange thing
is that all you have to do is insert the DVD-RAM media in the LG writer and
it's rendered unusable in the Recorder, doesn't matter if you were only
reading from the media. Something gets changed on the media and the only
way to fix it is to format it in a different Recorder. I had to buy a
Samsung DVD-ROM drive to get over the problem.
