Hi All,
I am looking at purchasing the Toshiba Gigabeat X30 30GB to take
overseas with me for music, video and digital photo storage.
Has anyone had any experience with this mp3 player?
I am told the following:
1. The Gigabeat can USB host and I can plug my Canon Ixus 800IS into it
and upload the photos. Is this correct?
2. You can sort music either by ID3 tags OR file and directory names.
Is this correct? I'd prefer to sort by file and directory names as a
lot of my music has incomplete ID3 tags.
I am unsure of the following:
1. Will the Gigabeat will work with an Apple Powerbook? The Toshiba
Gigabeat website states that it requires a computer with Windows and
Windows Media Player installed. Will the Gigabeat simply work like a
external hard disk that I can plug in via USB to my Powerbook and copy
music onto?
2. Since the Gigabeat runs Windows Mobile can I install and run any
Windows Mobile (PocketPC) software?
Thanks in advance! :-)
