Uh, where do you get the 1.29 per disk computation? I figure I'm paying
around 2.50 a disk, which is crap. Netflix claims you get "unlimited"
rentals, meaning when I turn one in, I shoudln't have to wait a week
for the next one because they're purposely sitting on it. So whether
I"m paying 1.29 a disk, .5 cents a disk or 50 bucks a disk, they are
not doing what they claim they do.
The reason why people stay with Netflix? Because it's the lesser of two
evils. Blockbuster is actually worse (see my other thread comparing
them).
The thing is, Netflix used to be great which is the only reason anyone
has these discussions. They used to actually send the next disk out as
soon as they received one from you. The days of good service from them
are long gone.
