Hi!

I have two questions:

1) As I'm considering buying a HDV camcorder, I thought about the new
Sony HDR-FX7, but it only works in 1080i and I'd prefer 720p... what
720p cam could you advise me, considering that price range should be
the same as the Sony's?

2) If ever I end-up buying the Sony, I have a question regarding sync
with other equipment: afaik, there's no XLR inputs on the HDR-FX7 and I
thought it would be better to use some other equipment to record the
sound (my DAT would be ok). Is there a way to sync both cam and dat or
should I have to "manually" re-sync the whole stuff while editing?
