The recording industry promotes crap on radio. They have the muscle to
keep others away. Downloading levels the playing field and they do not
like it. That's why Congress and the Supreme Court created the
doctrine of Fair Use.
The greedy sharks can bullshit all they want - Fair Use applies to
downloads as long as it is not for money. It promotes the greatest
variety for consumers and artists alike. IOW it is the fairest system
for all concerned except the the crooked bastards in the recording
industry who manipulate the system to their selfish advantage.
