I use a cheap orienterring compass
and one of the many internet based sat. calc, programs!

Just click on the sat you want and the nearest city.Go out adjust the
elevevation and azimuth accordingly and you can almost hit it dead on most
times.A little adjustment(preferably with a screen watcher!) and you're
done.
