I know this is a stupid question, but could you refresh my memory
as to how you disable autoplay. The dvd seemed to load it's own
player when inserted. Usually, I get a window that gives me options
and the default is something like "do nothing". It didn't stop the dvd
from running, though, since there was no popup window.
