I wasn't a big fan of the first TRANSPORTER so I don't know what came
over me to watch the Trans2 DVD. But, oh deer lowered, it was
terrible. Acting was gawdawdful, including Matthew Modine, but
excluding Jason Statham. Action was mediocre, though at times it did
have some interesting (but far from the inspired work that Yuen Kwai
had done previously), but even those were gutted by poor camera work
and editing. In fact, much of the action staging felt recycled from
prior Yuen Kwai work (notably the fight using the firehose). Plot wsa
really a non-starter, but that's not really the point of this type of
movie anyway. The Pink-lookalike (except with a super-tight bod) as a
female Terminatrix crossed with Darryl Hannah's Pris was laughably bad,
although i think that migh thave been the point.

The only good thing was that it was mercifully short, running time
<80min.
