Does anybody remember a European dubbed TV programme called The Singing
Ringing Tree, for kids in the late sixties or thereabouts?

My friend's wife was talking about it, and we all vaguely remember it. I
think there was a rather unpleasant dwarf running about, and a pretty
girlie (princess?) who may have been a captive. There was a lot of snow
and ice too I believe.

Did it ever go to DVD?

Did we dream it?

We thought it was the same sort of era as Belle and Sebastian if that
makes a difference.
