It seems to me that support for Audible would be important for serious
audibook listeners today

look on their sites at the books available and support devices -- iPODs are
supported....I'm sure some of the supported devices have radios in them too

I use it with a Creative Zen Xtra player and with a home SONOS systems

works well....

I have converted many of my CD based audiobooks to MP3's and can play them
on the same devices, but it is a time consuming progress that is not needed
with use of audible format books

it is proprietary but for audio books -- it is hard to beat
audible..............
